Over the coming weeks and months, Qualis Commercial will engage with local residents and businesses to canvas views and opinions that will build an understanding of what they feel is needed in Epping and this feedback will be used to help inform the needs and design of the sites. It’s a really exciting time for Epping as plans are developed for the regeneration of sites in the town.
Qualis Commercial will also be launching a dedicated resident consultation platform at the end of June which will provide easy access to the most up to date information and allow for open and transparent feedback to be submitted. The online consultation platform, through Commonplace, will help prioritise needs, ideas, concerns and aspirations and give Qualis Commercial the ability to engage digitally as well as through the traditional methods.
As well as the online consultation, Qualis Commercial will ensure that residents and businesses are kept up to date through leaflet drops, press updates, online meetings and a week-long public exhibition, planned for the summer*, giving people the opportunity to speak to the team face to face.
From this extensive consultation process, Qualis Commercial will then be in a position to evolve its planning proposals for the five identified sites, which will then be further consulted on later in the year.
